Well, the main ways are

1. Straight through exhaust system
2. Decent intake
3. Lightweight flywheel
4. Lightweight pulleys (including crank pulley)
5. Remove powersteering

then if you still have cash left

6. Stiffer engine mounts
7. Port intake (including where intake meets engine)
8. Port headers to match engine
9. ITB's (Individual Throttle Bodies)
10. Lightweight internals

There are loads more but there the main ones Cool

Remove air con, lighter wheels, lighten up the whole car, cams, ECU, bore, 2.2L stroker kit, by then, you would end up with a monster N/A engine! Shocked

It will make a great motor but will be rubbish without other mods.

To cater for the extra power, i suggest strut braces, anti roll bars, coilovers, lightweight the car and upgrade the brakes.

This will give you a fun track car, i tell you that!

Just out of interest, is it mainly for track use, daily or a bit of both?

It's a hard job to do with the ST182/3's. Problem is these are heavy cars. If you want to keep all the weight with your luxeries, i suggest at least a carbon fibre bonnet.

Then again, if you wan't a fast street car, then i'd go the 3SGTE route with some minor suspension and brake mods. 3SGTE is good because it will be reliable as a daily and still have the power that you want. After all, if it's overtaking power you want, this is the way to go. Wink
