| So at the moment, im currently in the planning stages to supercharge my gen 2 3SGE, my first problem is to do with the trans swap.
Im going to swap out my current S53 for the stronger S54 out of an ST202 celica. In the process, i will be installing an LSD.
Are the starter motors in the same location?
Will i need to modify anything or are they exactly the same?
Im told its quite a difficult transplant but i cant find out why. | |

| I get mixed comments from this, some say it bolts right in without a hassle, some say there is a lot of wiring involved. If you have a JDM ST182 S53 and replace it with a JDM ST202 S54, i cant see why it wouldnt work. About 2 weeks ago, there was an ST182 for sale with a 3SGTE mated to an S54, i asked if it was easy but got know comment Im also told that the speedo will bolt right up to it aswell but some US dude says know | |

| Thanks for that, originally, i wanted to do most of the swap myself but i think i'll leave the trans to the experts, still would like to know though. | |

| E56 is bolt on to 3sgte due to the fact that it is the same as the E154(gtfour) but without the 4wd part. Very hard to find. It was only delivered in some euro/uk st202 and the JDM beams. | |
