| Hi all Im Rusty, Im from Hawkesbay, New Zealand. 21 years old. Own a 1996 Toyota Celica SS-II. some of you might know me on 6gc, celicatech, toyspeed also registered on CCUK but dont post since it cost money, which I really think is silly.
My celica has had 1 previous owner in japan then I bought it in 2007, so I'm the second owner, had done 60,000km when I bough her, looking after her quite well, will post pictures for you all to look at later on.

| Hey and welcome, nice to see another NZer Yep, have seen you on celicatech and toyspeed, your the owner of probably the cleanest SS2 in NZ! I'm also a member of CCUK since it has a lot of GTR 4WS info but too much hassle to sort out membership. So when are you getting your rims done then? Seen your thread on toyspeed, can't wait to see when finished! Anyway, enjoy your stay | |

| right so I've got the rims back and...
they look amazing, the were sandblastered, the a zinc primer and powdercoated in artic white. for NZ$200, so quite well priced for the quality.
I'll have to post some picture up sometime, but yea really happy with results

| White is by far the best colour for a red car, done a good job on powder coating them aswell!
Nice one! | |

Is that the sensor that goes into the intake? I went through Toyota for the TRD SS, so yea straight from japan, sadly I think they've stopped doing a ST18#, I know how you feel, my celica gen has also had a few discountinued items. Yup thats the sensor (measures the temperature of the air when it cames into the intake), mine never came with one, but still had the loom plug, just no sensor. will keep you updated when they are fitted - 3Spower wrote:

I wish my engine bay looked like that! cheers mate, it diffenatly will, well a lot of physical labour lol sanding (start from around a 600grit and work your way up to 2000 grit) takes a bit of time, its easier if you can take parts out of the engine bay (that way you dont get mess everywhere) or if you cant remove parts, do your best to cover all other areas with newspaper and tape, should cut down on the mess then finish off with autosol metal polish (looks like a toothpaste tube)
