| When i went to take a look at the 4ws celica, i done the paperclip test and came up with faullt code 11. i matched it up to 'ECU'.
Does this mean i need a new ECU?
Im also assuming the 4ws uses a seperate ECU than the engine.

No, i had that code and my ECU just needed reprogramming and the rear steering 'Redcentred'. My local mechanic around the corner done the job. - slammed_celica wrote:

Don't think so, my local mechanic was able to do mine. I might pop round to a mechanic tomorrow, who done the work? Mark Laughton Motors Service Centre, real great place. For replacing the CV, checking the 4WS speed sensor, reprogramming the ECU and more things i cant remember, it costs me a little of $200

| Not sure yet, as you said it's just before christmas so can't really afford it. It's a real pain to drive, i regret to say i was VERY close to swapping it for a starlet and let it be someone elses problem just like somebody did to me Am sticking with it though, just seems to go wrong, always when i have no money aswell | |
