| Hi Steve and welcome. Maybe want to swap a redtop Beams in it? Or supercharge it like Jamie said before. Otherwise there aren't that many options to reach 200 BHP on a gen 2 3S-GE. It's a huge step to go from 150 bhp to a reliable 200 bhp on a n/a engine, and there will be a lot of $$$ involved. Goodluck anyways, and enjoy your stay here | |

| I live in Hoorn, that's a small town aproximatly 40 km above our world famous city of Amsterdam Sure it's possible to use your 3S-GE head, but you also need to get a hand on a intake manifold and lots of other small parts to get the thing working. 2nd gen 3S-GTE's are plentyfull in the UK and then you most probably get all the parts you need at once, instead searching througout the country for parts. You'll end up cheaper with the 2nd gen GTE | |

| As NSX said, will still be cheaper for a gen 2 3SGTE. Squeezing 200bhp from a gen 2 3SGE is possible if you have the cash. If you still don't want to go down the GTE route, you can always get a gen 3 3SGE from an ST202 Celica. I think the gen 3 3SGE is a good base for an N/A build for 200bhp. I have always wanted a beams but can't justify the price of them. Would be cheaper to find a gen 3 3SGE and tune it up 200bhp. There isn't too much difference between the two (higher compression, different intake manifold and ECU i think). Don't forget though, you may want to upgrade your transmission aswell | |
