PostSubject: Gerby and his ST182   Gerby and his ST182 I_icon_minitimeFri Jul 17, 2009 4:53 pm

I will introduce myself now too.

I'm from Vaals (The Netherlands) near Aachen (Germany)
I drive a Celica ST182 from 1991 in red

I will first post a couple of pictures and then i will tell you what i'm still willing to do.

It started about 4 years ago:

Gerby and his ST182 IMG00069

In the meantime a damage (my fault) and a scratch from the driverdoor to the back came to it. The last owner before me made something too. )-;

Until now i have made some changes already

US-Sidemarkers in the frond and the rear (in the back i still have to put the bulbs in)

It's a little bit dirty, but i will give it a wash soon again ;-)

I exchanged the front leftside over the rims
And the middle part of the exhaust will be exchanged.
The driver and passengerseat will be exchanged and HID are build in.
A GT4 Bumper needs to be repaired and then i can put it on.

The little widows will are exchanged an got tainted

Depends what market the car is from. If the car is made for the japanese domestic market it is almost always 3SGE powered. Ones made for export markets sometimes have the 3SFE and 5SFE motors. NZ new ones for example mostly have 5SFEs.

I could be wrong but i thought the 183 only comes with the 3sge, 4ws and tems.

Could never find out what the difference is with the 184, did find 'active sports' which i assume is a 184.
Wonder what engine it has

To be a ST183, it has to have 4 wheel steer. Also from what ive seen alot of ST184s are verts - just from the net, anything other than a ST18x hardtop with a 3SGE is relatively rare in nz. Cant say ive seen more than a handful verts in real life as it is.

oh yea, forgot about convertibles, although i do know that some convertible celicas chassis codes are ST183C and there with 4ws and tems so a 184 could be without 4ws and tems.

Yeah it gets so complicated, cos im sure the americans got the complete opposite to us, most the time cos their emissions laws were strict so had to have EGRs etc added to make compliance. And their chassis codes never match ours Laughing Laughing
